Video Motion Analysis

See how many degrees your joints move, from a short video recorded with your phone.

Language note: the app interface is currently available in Turkish only. The steps below explain how to use it.

What does it measure?

Isolated joint test

Measures the range of motion of a single joint:

  • Shoulder: raising forward, raising sideways, rotation
  • Elbow and wrist: bending and straightening, sideways wrist movements
  • Hip: raising forward, moving sideways, rotation
  • Knee and ankle: bending and straightening
  • Trunk and neck: bending forward–backward and sideways

Functional movement

Tracks trunk, hip, knee and ankle angles together during a movement such as a squat, lunge or sit-to-stand, and separates the repetitions automatically. Filmed from the front, it shows alignment problems such as the knee moving inward (valgus).

How to use it

Keep the phone still: use a tripod or lean it on a shelf, facing the movement at a right angle.
Record a short video. Hold the starting position still for half a second, then perform the movement.
In the app, select the video, then the test and the side you want to measure.
View the result and download the patient summary.

For a good measurement

  • Place the camera at a right angle to the movement: film from the side for forward–backward movements and from the front for sideways movements.
  • Keep the head, trunk and the measured joint in the frame (for the wrist test a close-up is enough).
  • Use good lighting and close-fitting clothes; film the ankle test barefoot.
  • Do not use the phone’s 0.5× wide-angle mode; record at 60 fps if possible.

Where is your video processed?

The analysis runs entirely on your own phone or computer. The video is never uploaded to a server or stored. The app only downloads its motion-recognition models from the internet when it first opens, so an internet connection is needed during analysis.

Important: This tool is for measurement and education; it does not diagnose and does not replace an examination. Measurements are estimated by artificial intelligence from a two-dimensional video image and may not match goniometer measurements exactly. If you have pain, swelling or loss of movement, consult your physiotherapist or physician.

An activation code is required to open this app. If you don't have one, ask your physiotherapist.

The camera image is processed only on your device; it is never sent to or stored on the server. These apps are for education and exercise support; they do not replace clinical assessment or diagnosis.
